The wonderful Greg Leisz recording his pedal steel performance at the end of Queen of California. We only ended up using flourishes of his playing in the final track but all of it was spectacular and deserves to be heard… One of the very few unseen videos from the recording of Born and Raised.

Last Chance to Preorder “Born and Raised” on Vinyl
The Born and Raised preorder department will close on Tuesday, June 12th, at 5PM ET. Until then, all preorders of the album on vinyl will qualify for discounts on merchandise: posters (save $5-$10), T-Shirts (all tees are $20), and The North Face jackets (save $15). Sticker sets are also included with every copy of Born and Raised.
All copies of Born and Raised on vinyl include the album on CD along with the double EP set. All preorders are expected to ship on or around June 13, 2012 from the Store.
Two ebay auctions to benefit NCIRE end tomorrow, May 31st, at 7PM ET. Available for bidding are an autographed Fender Stratocaster used on the 2007 “Continuum” tour and a framed photograph by Danny Clinch from the “Born and Raised” album photoshoot, signed by both he and John.

“John and I have done quite a few shoots together. The beauty of that is the comfort level. John played me some of the new music and we discussed the vibe and style of the shoot. I have always loved the immediacy of Polaroid and when I shot this one and saw the results, I knew it was a winner. I love the imperfect nature of it. And it helps that John is a damn good subject.”
